Welcome to your first full day in Paris! I hope you flew in, made it through the daunting CDG customs, and stayed up all day to start your first full day in Paris right!
Day 1 Itinerary
- Hot Chocolate at Angelina’s
- Louvre Museum
- Tuileries Christmas Market
- Tuileries Garden
- See the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night (first five minutes on the hour after sundown)
Angelina Paris

Start out your day with getting the famous Angelina hot chocolate at the Angelina Paris, 226 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France location. The hot chocolate is very rich and decadent. The whole location is a spectacle to see and is decorated beautifully for the Christmas time.

Louvre Museum

Purchase your tickets ahead of time to get into the museum. They will have lines to enter from the front through the pyramid, or you can enter through the subway entrance at the bottom of the museum. We entered through the front because I wanted to see the iconic pyramid and take pictures. Our tickets were 17 euros each purchased through their website.
You can seriously spend all day here! Have fun seeing the most iconic pieces of art while wandering through the detailed exhibits. There is a cafe and shops on the base level going out through the subway exit.
Tuileries Christmas Market
The Tuileries Christmas Market is just a five minute walk from the Louvre Museum and it a magical experience! This Christmas Market features rides for children, vin chaud (mulled wine), chocolate chaud (hot chocolate), crepes, pretzels, sandwiches, and much more.

Tuileries Garden

After you get the snacks from the Tuileries Christmas Market, wander around through the garden. There are many benches that are adjacent to ponds to sit and reflect. If you have children, they can run around and play as you walk along the gardens. It is a beautiful time to soak in the feeling of Paris. It is also free to walk around, which always makes for a good time.
Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower sparkles for the first five minutes of every hour after sundown. There are many beautiful places to see it sparkle. This is Parc du Champ de Mars.
What a beautiful ending to your first day in, Paris!
Day 2 Itinerary
- Photoshoot
- Arc de Triumph
- Champs-Elysees
- Laduree
Photoshoot

Meiry was an amazing photographer. We got up before the sun came up and took an hour and a half worth of pictures. She was very professional and it was one of the best experiences in Paris. We felt like she captured the love that we have for each other in one of the most romantic places on earth. It was very real and genuine and I would HIGHLY recommend the experience of a photoshoot.
Arc de Triumph and Champs-Elysees

We started out Day 2 at the Arc which then lines up to the Champs-Elysees. You can spend time walking down the street after viewing the Arc to shop at one of the most iconic shopping streets in Paris.

The beginning of the walk starts at the Arc and the entire street goes down to that point. There are stores all around and places to eat! On that street is one of the most popular tea and macaroon spots, Lauduree! Make a reservation to have afternoon tea, or stop by to order some of their pastries!
Day 3 Itinerary
- Notre Dam Cathedral
- Walk along the Seine
- Boat Ride
Notre Dam Cathedral

Walk Along the Seine River
We walked back to the 7th arrondissement along the Seine. This took us a leisurely hour and a half as we strolled by all of the houseboats and wandered along the edge of the river. We had a great time reflecting, enjoying the views, and getting in our steps. This day we were supposed to do a boat ride on the Seine, but my husband ended up getting a bad migraine and we could not do it. Next time we are in Paris, we are for sure booking another ride on the Seine.
I hope this helped you with your planning! Paris is a beautiful city and is worth all of the hype. It was truly better than we expected and I hope to continue going to Paris again and again.
